I brewed a hefe 2 days ago and is currently fermenting in a bucket.
I noticed there is no gas coming out of the blow off tube and realized the lid is not air tight and not fully sealed on the bucket.
I heard hefeweizen can be open fermented and some people do it for up to 3 days
I don't want to risk oxidation
Should I transfer my hefeweizen to a carboy where it will be air tight for the rest of the fermentation (~2 weeks) or leave it in the bucket because there is such a thing as "Carbon Dioxide Blanket"?
