Hi, I'm new to brewing. Just brewed a batch, and after the boil I poured my beer directly into my True Brew plastic bucket. THEN I cooled it down in there using a wort chiller. Is this safe to drink or have I potentially contaminated my batch with toxins from the plastic bucket? Any thoughts?
Thanks, Adam
Thanks

If it's a food grade bucket, you'll be fine.

Next time, though, use the wort chiller while the wort is in the pot, as it was desgined for. You are killing the life of your bucket with near-boiling liquid.

Just stick your chiller in the wort with 10-15 minutes to go in the boil, this will sanitize it. Then whent he boil is done, start up the water.

Put the chiller in the wort near the end of the boil and that will sanitize the chiller.
