I brewed a Two Hearted clone today and after the mash I ended up with 5.5 gallons. At the end of boil I was at about 4 gallons. I had the boil off value for my system set to 0.5 gal in Beersmith which should have been 1 gal. But what about the other half gallon? It is about 20 degrees Fahrenheit outside and I brewed in the garage.

I boil off at least 1.5 gallons in my keggle, but like he^ said, you can just add bottled water to it.

With the air being so dry in the Midwest right now you can easily have a much greater evaporation rate than you expected. Just add sterilized water back in to get your volume and OG where you want it.
