Im just beginning home brew, but this reading doesn't seem right to me, any information would be great thankyou!
Its just the coopers lager and enhancer 2

With an extract kit, if you got a gravity significantly higher than the recipe called for, either the kit's designer screwed up (unlikely), or one of these things happened...

- You ended up with less than the intended volume of wort (boiled away too much).
- You should have topped off with more water after the boil, but didn't, or didn't add enough
- You topped off, but didn't mix it thoroughly before taking the hydrometer sample.
- Measurement error.

If you provide the following information...
  1. Gallons of wort that made it into your fermenter
  2. Gallons of wort left behind in your boil kettle
  3. Pounds of LME from the kit that went into the kettle
  4. Pounds of Enhancer 2 that went into the kettle
...a close estimate of your actual OG could be easily calculated.
