Temp & Grain Bill

Whether you are doing an extract w/ grain steep or all-grain, mash temperature is important. Shoot for 152-156 after the grains are added if you'd like some extra body

and/or in combination with...

Depending on the recipe, use 5-15% crystal malts


If you are brewing entirely w/ malt extract, consider adding some maltodextrine.
