I was having trouble coming up with a brewery name for a while, I wanted something that kinda said what I was all about and sounded cool. Mosh is connected to my punk/rock roots and "have fun" lifestyle currently basement has 2 meanings, 1 because I'm fermenting it in my basement, 2 because it connects to underground, like secret, etc....
the name of the beer honestly came one day while I was throwing a party in my basement, and someone just blurted that out, I think because I'm always joking about making some stupid strong beer and calling it f#@k you ale. And I was incredibly nervous about messing something up during this entire brew session. The little tag on the side we put in just for a bit of humour
