For those of you considering the La Petite Orange, with the coriander optional addition, for a first..or second, or subsequent brew for that matter, I found that the two week minimum conditioning that the NB recipe calls for (2-3 weeks), is not enough. I cracked the first couple bottles at 2 and found the coriander was extremely pronounced. Even at three and four weeks it was still really noticeable. As this is supposed to be a Blue Moon/Shocktop type brew, I found five weeks minimum is almost spot on. I almost couldn't drink it at two weeks. Way to cloying and I could only drink it while eating peanuts. I guess if you REALLY like coriander, early is okay, but not for me.

I just put it in the boil at the last 5 mins and strained it out before it hit the primary. It helps with the strong coriander. That being said most beers you should try to let sit longer than kits say to.
