Anyone who is a Timbo fan should go get themselves a pint or three of 90 hour day. HPB citra dry hopped unfiltered pilsner. Top notch stuff.
That sounds boner inducing. I was talking to bob yesterday about how they need to can/brew more pilsners. He said in time it will start happening at Chinatown.
Yesterdays monkish party was awesome. First time beer festing in the rain and I wasn't disappointed.
This review on that other site made me chuckle. https://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/monkish-brewing-co.548709/page-20#post-5919505

Was disappointed when I asked if they were filling crowlers yesterday. Hopefully soon, that **** is delicious

Anyone know where i can find a 12 shipper maybe close to the Long Beach area?

You won't be in OC during your visit? If so, the bruery sells 12 shippers. Otherwise, maybe someone else can help you.

Planning a trip up to LA this weekend, I've got a rough idea of what I'm doing but I've got a couple questions:
1) For DTLA area, I've got Highland Park Chinatown, Modern Times, Mikkeller DTLA, Arts District, Mumford, and Indie Brewing (haven't heart much about them, might stop in if we have time) for beer spots. Am I missing anything essential in that area?
2) Food recommendations for DTLA? I've got a few spots in mind but open to suggestions.
3) Anything specific between the DTLA area and the El Segundo area I should make sure to stop at?

1) Far Bar's another great option that gets you over to Little Tokyo, which is lousy with excellent eating (Daikokuya's always justifiably packed, but I've never had bad ramen anywhere around there, so it's worth exploring).
2) Again Little Tokyo, just about anything in Grand Central Market (Tacos Tumbras is my favorite, but you can't go wrong with much), Bestia in The Arts District for upscale modern Italian, Cole's for a French Dip and to check out The Varnish, should you want to break up your beer with some of the better cocktails in town, etc. There's also Wurstkuche, which is a solid sausage/beer space.
3) Firestone Venice borders on being in the El Segundo direction, as does Father's Office.

I was eyeing Daikokuya, any other specific ramen spots you're fond of? Sounds like pretty much any of them will at least be good.

Both on the agenda, hoping Firestone Walker still has Coconut Rye Parabola bottles next weekend.
