Friend of mine swung over there yesterday after Woodshop and they were already sold out. Both on the agenda, hoping Firestone Walker still has Coconut Rye Parabola bottles next weekend.

I was hoping Woodshop would cut down on the amount of folks buying the CocoRyeParab on Sat, seeing as most self respecting members of the beer community would be attending Woodshop.Friend of mine swung over there yesterday after Woodshop and they were already sold out.
I was eyeing Daikokuya, any other specific ramen spots you're fond of? Sounds like pretty much any of them will at least be good.
GUERRILLA TACOS.Planning a trip up to LA this weekend, I've got a rough idea of what I'm doing but I've got a couple questions:
1) For DTLA area, I've got Highland Park Chinatown, Modern Times, Mikkeller DTLA, Arts District, Mumford, and Indie Brewing (haven't heart much about them, might stop in if we have time) for beer spots. Am I missing anything essential in that area?
2) Food recommendations for DTLA? I've got a few spots in mind but open to suggestions.
3) Anything specific between the DTLA area and the El Segundo area I should make sure to stop at?
Those tacos Saturday were so damn good.GUERRILLA TACOS.
Three fates on at HPB chinatown....

Coming from Boston area, so I'm not too worried about IPAs...any lambic bars?
I'm gonna be in the LA area for about a week next week. I was last there in fall of 2016...anything new pop up since then? I will be near UCLA specifically, but will have a car and time for a day trip or two if there is something worthwhile. Coming from Boston area, so I'm not too worried about IPAs...any lambic bars?

I too was a bit shocked at the price tag, expected it in the 45-50 range but FW gonna FWI love pilsners, but $60 to drink a bunch of them? Ehh?

Anybody in LA going to the Cigarettes After Sex show tomorrow? We're staying in Echo Park for the weekend and planned on doing checking out all the new stuff in Chinatown. Its surprising to me that Pok Pok was there a few years ago and now there is MT, HPB and even a Momofuku.
Pok Pok was ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Haven't been to Majordomo but if you are looking for some excellent food without the scene, consider LASA. Probably the best restaurant I have been to in the last year.
And if you are in Echo Park, Button Mash can be a lot of fun. Nguyen Tran is the chef (of Starry Kitchen, the restaurant Angelenos actually wanted to succeed) and the beer menu is always excellent.
Hit me with the spots!
Is Starry Kitchen that one underground pop-up I heard about on NPR? Always wanted to check that place out. I'll have to pick your brain before the next time I hit up LA.Pok Pok was ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Yes, Baroo rules. Another good option over there is Kimset (mediterranean / middle eastern food).
Have you been to Night Market Song? Another great Echo Park spot for excellent southeast asian food.
This, those were so ******* good at Woodshop.GUERRILLA TACOS.
Any spots with a good in-house bottle list? It’s ya boi’s birthday weekend as well
Preferably near echo park or DTLA
