A friend is doing a Costco run for a big group camping trip this weekend and asked what beer he should pickup while there. Having never been to a Costco, I am not sure what they stock. What tasty shelf beers are reliably available at Costco in cans?
I'm convinced you camp every weekend, we gotta make a run through Angeles Crest.

I try! A weekend spent in LA is a loss in my book. But yeah, lets get out. Have you hiked around San Jacinto mountains much? I think you'd love photographing the dr seuss trees up there.

Nope, just looked it up. That's crazy it has a 10k peak, never even looked that way. So Close to Palm Springs and Joshua Tree.

I'd let any beer that might have a gushing issue sit in the fridge for at least 48 hours. You might want to even put it in the freezer just prior to opening as well.

I get tiny gushes from some of those HPB wild ales. Always tasty af tbh.
I honestly think its due to the fact that they go for a higher carb, and don't have super fine filtering. So the particulate matter creates nucleation points for the high volume of CO2 to come out of solution quickly.

Hope you Orange County folks are doing okay, what with the entire state being on fire and all.

I'm 1.5 miles from the evacuation zone, my daughter's school was evacuated yesterday so I've been working remote. I have friends who have had to evacuate their homes and my house smells like I've been binging on Smoking Wood

Had some people take off early to handle **** (I work in the OC.) **** is scary. Though it's not as bad as up in Santa Rosa...

This is all reminiscent of the Witch Creek fire back in 2007. That was some scary **** that I wouldn't wish on anybody.

Yeah, those were gnarly. Half our company worked in that area, entire building basically shut down. Had ash on my car for days...

Can't wait to grab those cans! I'm loving that Beachwood seems to be moving away from growlers. The price point for 22oz was always a turn off.
