You still hitting up the House of Mouse? We're planning on going this weekend too.

Haven't been to HPB in too long, thanks to my beer money being diverted to holiday gifts. Need me some pilsner crowlers ASAP. I know it's not a pils, but might buy cans of the HPB/Modern Times collab just to tide me over.
Nope, no Disneyland for me this weekend, staying in San Diego. Hope you can swing a trip up to HPB with all the good stuff they'll have available!

Can anyone help me with info on HPB hoodies currently available? Trying to figure out a little xmas gift and regretting not thinking of this when I was up there last week. Specifically: are there women's hoodies or all unisex? Any chance there are colors other than black?

Pretty limited sizes currently if you're looking for the bigger sizes like L and XL. Probably dark blue only right now but they are getting some gray-ish new ones in the distant future. Not sure if they'll come in before Xmas though

What's the difference between Tovarish wax colors? Picked up a blue wax but left the yellow. Also had red, which I'm assuming is a previous year.

There were two variants and a regular tovarish last year. All different wax colors but IDK which is which. The labels have the variant on them.

One is standard Tovarish, the other is some pastrystout mess with vanilla cinnamon chilis and whatnot - it's written on the bottom border of the label. Beachwood seems to like taking the Eclipse route with their barrel-aged bottles - the differences are often just in the finest of prints or in inconvenient locaitons. System of a Stout was the same.

Well it seems this years' Tovarish is cans only so he must have picked up last years variants. Luckily enough, last years' Tovarish had no pastry variants. I believe the distinction was the type of coffee used in each.

How much was BA Ten Fidy? That's a good comparison right (although it was 20oz??)? I imagine it's more expensive for Beachwood to make a similar type of beer. I'm only asking out of curiosity.

The 19.2oz BA and Java BA Fidy cans were $12.50 which to me is still overpriced considering the economies of scale. Prob won’t be buying any more Oskar Blues stuff after their whole beer club debacle.

For a more direct comparison to a non BA stout...Veil(which many locals lament as being pricey) drops a 16oz pastry stout with a few adjuncts for $5.25/can at the MOST.

That seems fair, but still ~$20 a 4pk from the state of Virginia.

I don't get this, 19.2 oz cans of BA stout for $12.50 is overpriced? Can you let me know of any cheaper BA stouts of the same caliber (other than Lagunitas)?
