I came tonight after 3 days to find my korny keg has lost all pressure and the CO2 bottle empty. There had been some slight hissing when I tried to seal the lid (I hit it at 30 psi and then dropped down to 10 psi for a set it and forget it) but by fiddling with the lid I got it to stop. Obviously I still have a leak.
I will try the remedies that I have read about on the forum: flipping the lid around 180 degrees, keg lube, a new o-ring, dimes under the feet, etc.
My question is: will the beer in the keg be worth trying to save? Temperature in the fridge was 36 degrees F. The keg is still closed and I am hoping that there is enough CO2 in the head space to protect it from oxygen.
Best,
Steve
