Hi guys, I homebrew and now I start to make kombucha too, this is my first attempt to make new scoby from small one.

Is almost 20 days and no signal of mold (furry, green, black, etc), and smell and taste fine (like a canned peaches).

But, is very slime (jelly), it is normal? I know that pediococcus do this, but I dont know if is normal to kombucha and if in the next batch it disappears.

Also, don´t smell or taste vinegar (I measure the PH and now is 4.8). I made the tea with 1 liter of water, 2% of green leaves tea, and 6% of demerara sugar.

Thanks
