Kettle size for 1 gallon brewing

So I have already done 5 gallon batches in my 9 gallon kettle but I do this on a propane burner.

I am wanting to step into 1 gallon extract and BIAB brewing to get my feet wet with all grain and also to test recipes in smaller batches without wasting etc. as I learn. I will be doing these smaller batches on the glasstop stove.

I can get a hold of a 2, 3, or 4 gallon kettle cheap at big lots. Which would be most useful for what I am wanting to accomplish? The 9 gallon I already have is too big and doesn't really work on the stove either.

I think 2 gal would be too small. With grains and extra water for loss to steam and grain absorption, two gallons would be a very tight fit. 3 gallons would be fine, 4 would give you the ability to move up to two gallons if you wish.

I would go 4 gallon, I use my 5 gallon that I got when I first started brewing extrat kits and it is nice o have the extra space when I am working on my brew.

The 2 gallon is probably too small. I have a boil-off rate of about .75 gallons per hour, which means I need to boil at least 1.75 gallons to end up with one gallon for the fermenter. 1.75 gallons in a 2 gallon pot will be tight. I'd go with the four gallon.
