Looking for a 10 or 12 gallon stainless steel kettle. I will likely add a ball valve myself. Has anyone priced these recently and if so please post some links for me to check out. Tried the search feature but to no avail. Thanks for your help.

If you want a semi-heavy duty kettle, try the Bayou Classic that they sell on Amazon. Bayou Classic 44 quart It's usually around 85 bucks with free shipping, I use this for my HLT and has been a brew kettle too. No warping, handles are solid, and it conducts heat very well. It's not super heavy duty, but if you use it fairly nicely, it'll hold up for years. They sell larger and smaller versions of the same pot.

If you want a super heavy duty, More Brew has good prices but only does 8 or 15 gallon, which is for 5 or 10 gallon batches. http://morebeer.com/view_product/6612/103457/Heavy_Duty_Brew_Kettle_32_Quart_8_Gallon.

Outside of those, I found the best deals at the local home brew store. Keep an eye on http://www.homebrewfinds.com/ for daily deals they gather around the web. Sometimes kettles are featured from Morebeer.

When I upgrade my equipment, I'll be looking awfully close at Spike Brewing. Those guys have some great looking gear for a super reasonable price.

I have the 44qt (11 gallon) Bayou Classic as well, which is still in perfect shape after about 25 batches. I BIAB, and also got the SS perferated basket. Both the pot and basket cost me $97.00 on sale shipped. They still have it for $98.00 at regular price:

I also added my own ball valve, and it cost me about $40.00 from Bargain Fittings for the hardware, including the step bit. I also have a keggle, and drilling the hole for the ball valve on the Bayou Classic was a breeze compared to the keggle. Took about 10 minutes.

Good luck!!

I've used the MoreBeer 8 gallon kettle - it's excellent quality and super solid construction. The OP doesn't seem to be looking at this given the stated desire for a 10+ gallon pot, but I thought I'd weigh in given the later post discussing it. I thought 8 gal would be sufficient for doing a standard batch - but it really cuts it too close for my comfort. And 15 gal would have been overkill, IMO.
