Hello from the capital city of Kentucky, Frankfort. Been brewing for two years and slowly making my way up the brewing reality ladder. Currently at the 6 gallon plastic barrel rung. Will be upgrading to glass carboys soon (hoping Santa will be nice and save my pocketbook). Still bottling with no near future plans of moving to a kegging system while I still live in an apartment.

There is a homebrew meeting tonight in Lexington, KY if you are interested. It is at 7PM at the Red Mile.

Didn't check back yesterday in time to make this. Was this a BOCK meeting? I've had a horrible time finding any info on them. Are they still around? Their website seems to have disappeared.

Spending more time in Lville these days instead of Lex. Fiancee is finishing up grad school at UoL (UK didn't offer her degree so no Blue vs Red wars please), so I spend half of my weekends there. I need to check out a LAGERS event sometime.

Yes it was a BOCK meeting. They said last night the website is switching to a new host or something and will be back up and updated shortly. There is a facebook page (if you are on facebook) but it doesn't get updated much either. The meetings are at 7PM the second Monday of every month and are usually* at Red Mile. Hopefully when the new website is up things will be a little better organized. The meeting last night was fun. There was a gift exchange and about 20+ people brought their homebrew to try.
