Kelleys Island Brewery

The family and I are camping on Kelleys Island, Ohio this weekend. Absolutely beautiful weather! Anyhow, my son was tired from riding his bike and we just happened to be next to Kelleys Island Brewery! we popped in to rest and get some food & I talked to the owner for a bit, really nice guy. They have a 3.5bbl system. I ended up getting an Island Devil, a strong Belgian. It was wonderful! Lots of Belgian flavor. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it and the brew pub to anyone. Food was good and the place was pretty nice.

I will be heading up to the islands this summer and will definitely check it out. I had no idea there was a brewery on Kelley's.

Damn, I was just up there at Kelly's last week. Didn't know there was a brewery there. OTOH, I have to say Great Lakes Brewing makes an awesome porter!
