I finally got to the right place at the right time. I have been checking a local scrap yard every few days for the past several weeks. The fella there told me he gets kegs from time to time but a company from Texas had just bought all his when I went there the first time.
I bought three nice kegs to convert today. He had probably 10 or so and most were in pretty fair condition, two still had a fair amount of beer in them.
Anyway now to my question. I am going to build a boil pot, mash tun and HLT.
The drain outlets are no problem but what of the rest of the couplers? Any suggestions/experiences with where to locate them, how high, 90 degrress apart etc?
