keggle hole diameter

I am going to be making my keggle over the next few days, I was wondering what diameter everyone is cutting their hole at the top. Most of the threads I read people were cutting them a certain diameter for a specific lid they were going to use with it. Any advice is much appreciated.

Mine is 12". I use a 13" pizza tray as a lid.

Well I forgot to mention that the type of keg I am using is a spartanburg, wider middle section, that may or may not make a difference.
