Keggle Help

You guys that use keggles, could you help me out please? If you get something like this universal kettle from Sabco, what else do you need to commence boiling? I'm figuring something like:

• Weldless Basic Plus
• Weldless Thermosight
• Bazooka T
• Bazooka Sanke Adapter

from Northern Brewer. What am I missing?

And speaking of the Weldless Thermosight...that eyelet thingy that holds the top of the sight tube...how do you afix that to the keggle?

You pretty much got it. But if you get the universal kettle it's got welded fittings on it already, so you don't need the 'weldless basic plus kit' you'd need a 1/2 NPT barb on the outside and a 1/2" ball valve.

Same for the thermosight, you'd just need an elbow, your glass tube (or high temp vinyl hose) and a way to affix it up top.. since there's already a welded fitting on the kettle (there's two total like the pic).

If you are doing your OWN kettle, yes you'll need all those weldless fittings...

Thanks for clearing up my confusion. So where do you go to get "just the parts", like a SS ball valve and barb? Hardware store? I know Sabco has em, but they want $38 just for a SS ball valve.

tnlandsailor sells nice sightglass kits cheap....for a few more $, he'll throw in an adapter for a thermo, too.
