Kegerator

I am planning on buing a kegerator through a nephew in another city and am concerned if it will be tall enough for a corny keg. I know it will hold a standard 15.5 (1/2 barrel) keg but the corny with valves will be about 3 inches taller. Does anyone know if corny will fit? I can only fine outside dimentions on this kegerator and do not want to order it and get home only to find out it won't work.
