I have a typical Danby kegerator that I bought from Home Depot and has treated me well for almost 5 years now.
I recently bit the bullet and bought a dual co2 regulator and connected that to the co2 bottle.
My bottle is now inside of the kegerator.

My issue is: the dual regulator makes the bottle too heavy and never stands up straight anymore, and I worry that one day it'll topple over and cause something to fail.
I believe one option is to put the bottle outside of the kegerator, but I'd have to drill a larger hole to fit both lines coming in.

I guess another option is to somehow mount the bottle or regulator inside of the kegerator so that it doesn't move.

So, what have you guys done to combat this problem?

i bought a 4 ft extension that goes between the c02 bottle and the dual regulator. That allows you to mount the regulator and move the bottle to disconnect and fit replacement without having to unmount the regulator. I mounted mine outside my keezer to maximize room inside. not as critical for the danby style, but same idea would apply. I've got pictures of the extension and mount in my keezer build below.

the extension was about $40 from one of the homebrew supply stores
