I can fit six kegs in my kegerator, with some empty space above.
I had been considering making a shelf above them for lagering kegs, but that would require removing the shelf to access keg disconnects and would severely restrict visibility.
I was considering having access holes in the shelf, and then realized that I could make a rack to support the kegs instead.
The rack can hold two 5 gal kegs. I used steel conduit for the rails and 3/8" hardwood plywood for the rack ends. Short #10 tapping screws fasten the ends to the steel fridge interior. Didn't hit any live wires this time.
I'll probably put heatshrink tubing over the rails to dress it up a bit. Eventually. Right now I'm just happy to have my marzen slumbering at 34F.
