its about the 5th time ive filled up this keg and the connector on the 'out' side wont come off.

it is a ball lock and the collar lifts up fine and you can even see the little ball bearings, itll spin around with a bit of effort but wont budge in the vertical direction. even broke out the WD40

worked fine dispensing too...


help!!
 
Sounds like you have the wrong connector on the post.

Black Connector = Liquid Out
Grey Connector = Gas In

When you disassemble the keg(s) for cleaning make SURE you put the posts back on the correct side. I think some are threaded so they can only go on one side, but I think I have seen them reversed on a couple.

They can be a bear to get off, just pull like hell.

It is possible that your keg has an "IN" post screwed onto the "OUT" side. Easy way to tell is if it has notches cut in the sides, or has a 12-point nut...
