Keg Posts - Teflon Tape?

Getting ready to keg my first batch and rebuilding the kegs - new seals and poppets.

Should I use Teflon tape or any other type of thread sealer on the posts? I am thinking not since I haven't seen it mentioned before. But, thought I'd double check.

Never. The posts seal with o-rings, no place to put any tape...

As long as your o-rings are good, and the flare on the dip tubes are fine, you shouldn't have any leaks. Taping the threads will have no benefit.

Using Teflon tape will hurt, not help in sealing posts. Good orings and oring lube is all you need!
