Keezer switched outlet wiring question?

Simple question.
Will this work?

Top outlet controlled by Love controller, bottom outlet always hot to power tower cooling fans/led lights etc.

Yes?
No?

Yes I know it's a bit more wiring than just using a Johnson controller but I want to try this out and make it look nice and digital.
