I am working on my keezer (will post when complete) and trying to find some ideas about a bartop.

Where can I find trim beyond what can be found at lowes or home depot?

Anyone know of any good build posts on here with creative classy bar tops?

I am building a keezer with a collar. Should I be worried about cooling the collar section? Should I put a fan at the bottom of the freezer?

Rockler has some traditional bar rail molding:

I just did some simple 1x4 trim and marble tile with my keezer

I just checked this above web, are they smoking something as those prices are way out of line for my wallet unless I was a person made of money and money was no object? Wow to believe people spend that kind of money when a table saw, shaper and a Frame Square or a miter saw you can create your own bar rails. I find rough saw cut lumber rather cheap even in cherry. If you start adding up how many feet are required thru this above company that will be an expensive piece of your bar, granted it looks nice with a finish on their forum.
Even Rocklers cherry comes to $25 a foot, wow not for me i'll make my own first as I have all the wood working power tools and equipment.

I have been debating if i should do a simple trim for the bartop or a fancy one.

That would depend on which direction you want spilled bier to go off the bar top, to the floor or containted by a shallow lip sticking up around the bar top edge? Even 2" x 3" hardwood stock with a deep rabbit cut for the top with the inside edge routered with a 1/4" radius bit and the outside with a larger
1" radius, easy as an arm rest. Have this edge trim stick up 3/8" above the bar top to contain any spills just make sure it is sealed to the top after the trim has been varnished.
If you can get your hands on wider stock make a regular bar style of edge with the wide arm rest, this pocket can be made off a 10" table saw doing many passes at an angle raising the blade after each pass. Anything vs that manufactured price material hell homebrewers build everything at home correct?

Hello,
Did you ever finish this project I want to do something similar but can’t find examples. Do you have any pictures of yours?

Looks like the OP dropped out of sight some time ago. Do a search for “show us your bar”. Pics of a ton of great bars. Anything from simple to elaborate. Great place to get some ideas.
