Made a Zombie Dust clone (sort of). Pitched S-04 at around 65. Fermenting along at about 67, maybe hit 68. Fermented out in less than a week. I normally just let beer stay in the primary fermentor for three weeks before doing anything. But, I have been trying to speed up production a bit. So, I dry hopped after a week. I took a taste of the hydro sample. Fake butter galore - diacetyl.

I'll wait another week or two as I understand that diacetyl normally goes away as the yeasties clean up after the fermentation party. But, do you think the dry hop will have any adverse impact on the cleaning up? I dry hopped 6 oz into 5.75 gallons.

Nope. You'll be fine. Might lose some aroma compounds but if you can tell sign up for a cicerone certification program.
