I spent a little money at AHS today- and didn't buy any equipment at all! I bought enough grain for three batches of beer, some hops for dryhopping a batch I have in primary now, and then some winemaking stuff. While I was there, I went ahead and bought the cheesemaking kits. Well, since I bought some winemaking stuff and some cheesemaking stuff, I decided I needed a new wine kit, too! So, I bought a very nice Cru Select kit that was on sale.

I'd better win at least one of the football pools (I'm already out of the Survivor) if I ever want to save up for a barley crusher!

Good Job guys.

I placed my order today as well.

I only spent $140....and it included a counter flow chiller, but with the 2 batches of grain, and the hops and Dry yeast, I'm good for 3 batches to run through it next weekend.

$280 at the LHBS (two 25L Demi's and a 5 gal carboy, a few caps and airlocks, and the rest was extracts/grains/hops/yeast)
another $220 at Northern brewer. All supplies, no equip.

It must be the full moon just passing...

Dang...I wish my allowance was that sweet. I spent 17 the other day at the LHBS, but that was really just a courtesy purchase for free use of the mill.

Next year, I'm not renewing my golf membership so I'll have more beer money. One day...

I spent $350 last week at my LHBS. 160 pounds of base malts (three kinds) another 30 or so pounds of assorted specialty grains, a bunch of yeast and hops. I'm set for a few brewing weekends, I think.

haha i just spent 25 today on my next recipe! im pretty excited for it to come. Oatmeal Stout run 1 here i come

BUMP!
Seems like this is a monthly thing here.
Just shelled another $133.00
Centennial Blond, and BierMunchers Mild from the 10der and mild thread. Also got another tap for the keezer...and all the crap to hook it up.

Damn, how much were those sacks of grain?

I've been really good lately (or in this case bad) I haven't bought much brewing stuff lately. Of course I've only brewed twice since labor day...and my pipleling is drying up...Sigh..

The wine kits did it! Those things are spendy.

I've been pretty good lately myself- last quick run to the LHBS was for 3# of assorted specialty grain that I needed to replenish, so less than $10. :D

Of course I've got PLENTY of base malt in the basement, and I want at least another sack of MO and a sack of Pils.

Now, I have been wanting to try my hand at cheese-making and those kits on AHS have caught my eye.

Beatcha. $417 last weekend. I bought a wine kit for SWMBO, a second 5# tank for the kegerator, a MicroMatic regulator, ingredients for another round of Helles Belles, and a few random other things like five packages of Notty. SCORE!

If I cave and end up getting the Blichmann 20, March pump, and CFC at some point that will set a new record. :D .. but I don't think I'll be doing 10 gallon batches for awhile yet.

My last LHBS run was only $165, but it should last me through the end of the month though. :)
