My boss has had this wine kit in the refrigerator for a few years. He pulls a couple ML out every once in a while to test different RS levels in our wines. Well, he accidentally left it out for a week or so without the top on. Instead of throwing it out, I used it to start a batch of wine. It is a World Vineyards Spanish Tempranillo, and it is fermenting beautifully.
Just pitch it.
