just had my first bottle if second homebrew

I made an imperial stout the end of January. It was called Shot In The Dark by South Hills Brewing. I bottled it 14 days ago. Put one in the fridge yesterday morning so it would be chilled for tonight. I popped the top and it was very good. Nice coffee flavor with a hint of chocolate. Nice and dark body. All in all it turned out great. They say this brew actually gets better with age. Woo Hoo!

Congrats! I am anxiously awaiting sampling my first brew. The wait is killing me.

It is so hard to wait! I had my first beer nearly finished before it was carbed. Fortunately, we have a tasting party planned for two weeks from now so I had to put away a twelve pack of each of my first brews. The Irish red will be 7 Weeks in bottle, the porter 5 Weeks and the blond and bitter ales will be three Weeks. If not, the Irish and porter would be gone
