I made an imperial stout the end of January. It was called Shot In The Dark by South Hills Brewing. I bottled it 14 days ago. Put one in the fridge yesterday morning so it would be chilled for tonight. I popped the top and it was very good. Nice coffee flavor with a hint of chocolate. Nice and dark body. All in all it turned out great. They say this brew actually gets better with age. Woo Hoo!

It is so hard to wait! I had my first beer nearly finished before it was carbed. Fortunately, we have a tasting party planned for two weeks from now so I had to put away a twelve pack of each of my first brews. The Irish red will be 7 Weeks in bottle, the porter 5 Weeks and the blond and bitter ales will be three Weeks. If not, the Irish and porter would be gone :)
