I am excited i am thinking about buying a kit ! I would like some advice on where i should get my first kit from and to be honest ive been a conasure now for about 3 years ( i DONT DRINK A.B or Miller or Coors <---- All Poo Beer.) anyways so i think i have a pretty good pallet for beer i dont wana start with the generic aww thats going to be an ok beer i wana pow some taste buds and impress my friends . i need to know what sites i should buy my brew kits from and what kind of kits are going to produce what quality of beer.

That's a tough question. There are plenty of threads on here that mention different websites to purchase from. This isn't very difficult. What I suggest doing is doing a google search to find the nearest home brewing supply shop in your area, introduce yourself and buy a kit from there. Lot's of Homebrewing supply shops have measured out recipes to choose from and they also tend to have classes which are informative and fun, plus there usually is some session beer to drink while learning to brew.
Go for it, meet some new people and have some fun!

Here's something I have realized lately... Kits are nice, but you can do it yourself as well. In Papazian's book there is a chart for some basic guidelines on what is needed for various styles. You can search for recipes here or Northern Brewer kits all list an inventory sheet on line (northernbrewer.com).

Pick the style you want to brew and just do it. After the first one, the fun is in trying to make it better and the way YOU want it to taste.

If you really want great recipes, check out HBT's recipe section. A lot of recipes are available in extract form and there a lot of AG recipes too if you choose to go this route.

I really like Austin Homewbrew Supply and Brewmasters warehouse. Good stuff. I prefer Austin but have used both.
