Is this some sort of Rorschach test?

Cause that looks like some high mileage vagina.

Here's some John Mueller Meat Co

John-Mueller-1.jpg

I had John Mueller during my visit to Austin a few weeks ago and am ruined forever. Best I've ever had in my life and it's not even close.

While I'm on the subject of my trip, Jester King was pretty surreal and one of the best brewery experiences I've had. Also got to meet up with mwbbq for a beer and a trade, great dude! You guys have it pretty good down there.

I actually found decent bbq in london. It was a tiny pub up the road from our hotel. And it was the only BBQ they had on the menu, it was really a whiskey/beer pub that just happened to do good food.

wish i could remember the name, id have to look on one of the travel sites i reveiwed it on

Damn that looks super good...
One of my favorites. **** Franklin, not worth the wait. LA BBQ is good but has been going downhill since they changed pit masters 2x, J Mueller is awesome but the dudes a prick. Micklethwait is always incredible and I will put their beef rib against any other BBQ place in town. Plus their jalapeno cheddar grits will change your life.

i've never been to Franklin due to the amount of praise it gets from hipsters.
like hipsters know what good BBQ is. PFFFFT. John Mueller's is legit tho.
my wife and i ate there and it was a warming 38 degrees outside.

People always say this, but that dude is a ******* hoot. Maybe because I'm an *******, we get along?

LA BBQ is pretty legit, but they keep changing smokemasters. I haven't been there for a while now, so I should probably check it out again.

Everyone is aware that the "LA" is for LeAnn Mueller, right? Louie Mueller BBQ out in Taylor is great as well. ******* Muellers for days in Texas.

To me La BBQ is least worth the wait of all. It's good but no better than Micklethwait. Plus Micklethwait has better sides and bread.

My personal ranking would be:
Franklin>>>Snow's>Louie Mueller>>John Mueller>Kreuz>Micklethwait>La BBQ>>Black's>>City Market Luling (though they have best sausage by far)

They all do good fatty ends but I find that Franklin really stands out with their lean end which is almost as juicy as the fatty at the lower places.

Oh ****, son. You didn't even put Smitty's on the list.

If we're talking favorite BBQ place of all time I gotta go with Pecan Lodge in Dallas. That place is ******* sublime. From top to bottom the meats were the best I've ever had.

Ha. Haven't made it to Smitty's yet. Not an intentional snub.

Yeah, Pecan Lodge is awesome too. I probably have their brisket somewhere in the Mueller range but their beef rib is by far the best I've had anywhere.

Just left at 6:30. Super chill with plenty of bottles. I love it when they don't release their fruited wilds.
My prediction for this years' Atrial release...

They really hit it out of the park on the presentation for JK/Fantome Del Ray. Green bottle, cork/cap combo, and I love the art. Can feel the love ElkSherpa
