I've got some 6 year old Hops

2, 1 oz packs of Hallertau in original foil vaccu packs. Are they garbage? Or, can i double the amounts & be OK?

Beersmith has a calculator (I don't have it with me now) to help you adjust your IBUs. But 6 years is a bit much, especially for a low hop like Hallertau.

Use in a lambic. Bittering acids are probably very low, but that's fine for a lambic.

Go buy a kriek (lambic from cherry). I like these better than framboise (raspberry) or peche (peach). There are others.

After a little research.....that looks like a pain in the ass! And a 6-9 month wait? I'm a little too impatient for that. Maybe I'll just throw them in a batch as a dry hop & if I get any aroma out of them, it's a bonus. Thanks for the suggestions though.
