Is this signs of infection?

Is this weird hazzy stuff ontop of my hard cider signs of infection? Or is this perfectly normal? The hazes look like smudges that would be on the glass, but that's on the brew itself, and really only can be seen with a light illuminating the brew

Looks fairly normal..give it time.
Although, looking closely I see there is the disturbing possibility it is evolving into a sentient life form:

Lol it does look like it's evolving into a sentient life forum. It's been fermenting for around 5 days now. I checked on it today and it doesn't look like its getting worse or anything

Looks fine to me. But every time you open up that fermenter to take a look at it, you increase the odds of getting an infection! So leave it alone for at least a few months!
