Hey đź‘‹

so I brewed a batch about 10 days ago and fermentation kicked off super quick. The krausen has been intense and I is a lot of true from Irish moss. The krausen was super sticky looking and started to drop 4 ish days ago. Thereis this lingering bubbly stuff on the top - I’ve given it a swirl and it dissolves away but then comes back - is this a pellicle starting to form or just reminants from the krausen?

If you shine a bright light into the beer, you'll probably see bubbles. Every so often you'll notice a big bubble rising slower bringing a big wad of yeast and trub to the top. That's all that is.

Don't worry till after you taste the finished product.

Keep notes of everything you do and see along the way. Then if it tastes terrible.... which it probably won't.... you'll be able to look back and maybe see something to indicate what went wrong.

Also helps you see what you did right when the beer is better than expected.
