Hi, this is my firts beer. I am afraid this is an infection, but I am not sure.

It is a stella clone.

Hope, I get some ideas in what to do ? or just start allover again.

YES! It is infected with a specific strain of fungus, Saccharomyces, that will only porceed to metabolize the constituents of your wort into various levels of ethanol, esters, phenols, and acids.

Nothing you can do now other than watch the carnage persist.

Thank you very much ! for your input.

I was very disappointing to think that after weeks of waiting, it was going to be a waist.

I am going to transfer to a second glass carboy to Larger for a month (4-6C), leaving this floating junk and sediments in this one.

Again thanks, my first post and already found great support and feedback.

Cheers !

Looks awfully dark for a Stella clone...and were you really able to control temperature well enough to do a lager for your first beer?

Lagers are hard...
