This is the best value for money but is 1 litre too much?

How much would I roughly need for each calibration? I intend to do it once a month for each brew.

I've been told that their accuracy extends as far as 4.0 and 7.0 which should be ok for my 2-decimal-place meter.

Thats a pretty good price. You will use only a little of the solution for calibration and this should last you a long time. As for the accuracy of the buffer, that's a question for the manufacture.
