I recently bought 2 used keggles from another homebrewer who was upgrading. Both had ball valves/bulkheads that hadn't been used in a long time and were dirty and corroded. I want to replace them both with SS setups from www.bargainfittings.com. The bargainfittings instructions for their bulkheads say to drill at 13/16" and I've seen some folks drill up to 7/8" with good results.
My problem is that the existing holes in both kegs are drilled at exactly 1".
For those of you with bargainfittings experience, how hard is it going to be to retrofit a "too large" hole to make it work?
