So, I live in east London, and if you live in the uk, you'd know that it's been rainy this week, despite the heat. so that really made it cold up here, since i live in a high rise building. my roommate doesn't want me to keep the bottles indoors since if something goes terribly wrong, it'll ruin the carpet (ugh...) so he said to "leave it in the balcony or something". so, with the lowest temp being 12 degrees celsius, would the fermentation process not occur?
 
The temp swings are not going to be helpful. If you have already bottled, you can get a plastic storage tote with a lid to store them in so you can keep them indoors with a more constant temp and any leaks or pops can be contained.
