I pitched my yeast in my starter after being out of the fridge only 30 minutes. My OG of the starter was 1.055 as well which i've read is a bit high. Its been about 30 hours since the pitch and i see no sign of active yeast. Should i trust this starter tomorrow or go buy more yeast? This is a 60 dollar batch of beer that i don't want to be ruined and my SG of the beer im making tomorrow is 1.080 so I need a starter. What should I do? The yeast im using is WLP001 California Ale Yeast. Just pitch the starter and see what happens?
