Hey guys,

I am new here. This is my first post because I am terrified at having an infection in my beer and want your input. I moved my stout to the secondary yesterday and today I added Black Cherry Concentrate to the carboy. Literally within the hour this popped up. Can anyone tell me whats going on here?

It's hard to tell, but it looks like the start of krausen formation. Perhaps fermentation will be restarting, since you added cherry concentrate and it should ferment.

I dont have an extra blowoff since its in my primary. What should I do if its fermenting again and I have no blowoff?

it means that the liquid is lower than the capacity of the carboy, so even if a thick krausen (foam) forms with fermentation, it will not gush out of the fermenter.

It does not look infected to me, probably fermentation starting again. Don't worry.

Cheers !
