Keg n00bie here. The SWMBO bought me one for my birthday. I kegged my beer last Saturday and decided to try the set it and forget it method. Today, because I'm impatient I figured I'd give it a try.

I made sure the tap was in the "off" position, hooked up my beer line, and immediately beer/foam started gushing out of the faucet. I pulled the tap forward and in the "on" position the beer pours like it normally should. I've disconnected, reconnected, messed with the faucet and everything else I can think of. Nothing has worked.

The only thing I can think of is that I have a defective faucet. And don't worry, I am RDWHAHB'ing right. My belgian wit came out pretty good. The coriander and orange peel could be a little stronger, but I'll fix that for next time.

Sounds like a bad faucet to me. Probably missing a seal somewhere. If it's still an option, I'd shoot for a replacement.
