New to Cider Making. This site is the best reference I have found, thanks to all for helping me get started.
I started my first batch 3 days ago and think I messed it up right out of the gate. I added 2 cups of cane sugar in the primary, i was so excited to me mixing up my brew got over zealous.

Is this bad?:drunk:

Are you talking about a 5 gallon batch? Or just a gallon? If it's a 5 gallon batch, you should be just fine with 2 cups. If it was a 1 gallon batch, you might have raised you specific gravity to high. If you haven't already, check it with a hydrometer just to be sure.

I checked it today, its looking like 1.15sg. I think its OK. It tasted pertty good.
Thanks!

1.15?!!!! HOLY BEJESUS!! Whats that like 19% ABV, actually its 19.89% ABV. and if you mean that its 1.015 that would mean one of two things: Either it fermented really fast and is almost done or that the SG was way low to begin with, which I don't think was the case because the apple juice would be 1.04 at least to begin with. And whats up with the title of your post and your actual question? They have nothing to do with one another.
