Hi,my village in Ireland is having a get together to commemorate the Easter 1916 rising and I d like to brew something for it so I m thinking a Irish Red,this is what I m thinking of going for
72 per cent Irish malted barley - stout malt
4.5 per cent Roasted Barley
5.5 per cent carapils
12 per cent flaked oats
6 per cent wheat
For bittering I am using Fuggles to bring it to 24 ibu's
Which of these yeast would work best between Safale 4 or 5
I am hoping for a quick turnaround on it, I want to brew this weekend but the weather has conspired against me.Hopefully I can next weekend.
So. Any thoughts?
