My wife and I recently went on a two-week trip around Ireland/Northern Ireland. I must say, being a California hop head, my expectations for craft beer weren't very high.
However, I was very impressed by a handful of breweries we visited throughout our trip. Here are a few that really stood out to me:
- Yellowbelly (Wexford)
- Rising Sons (Cork)
- Galway Bay/Salt House (Galway)
- Boundary (Belfast)
I would highly recommend checking these out if anyone is planning a trip around Ireland.
