I was going to make my first IPA and was going to use a recipe on Beersmith but was wondering about the addition of honey and oak chips in the recipe. Is it best to add the honey during the boil or after? i'm not sure how much honey flavor i would like in an IPA and have read that after the boil impart more honey flavor. Any suggestions on the recipe?
