Hey All, I like bouncing around recipe ideas on here. So let me know what you think. Still working through IPA's. My overall impression is to have a bit of malt character with these hops. I have some of these hops in storage so figured might put them together for this brew day.
1.068 SG
71% eff
65 IBU (Beersmith)
13.3 SRM
7.5 ABV
All Grain
Fly Sparge
12 lb of 2 row (Rhar)
1 lb 8 oz Maris Otter
1 lb Caraaroma 130 SRM
Simcoe - FWH - 5 grams
Apollo - 60min - 15 grams - Bittering
El Dorado - 15 min - 14 g
Willamette - 5 min - 56 g
Whirlpool El Dorado and Willamette 28 g each for 30 min
San Diego Super 090 - Big starter
Double Dry Hop with Lemon Drop Hops first charge for about 3 days and the next for another 3 days.
Then package.
I am open to opinions on the hop combination since it is a little different. Then the yeast. I was considering using 007 Dry English since I love the profile. I just used 001 and 090 so I have some harvested yeast to use. But curious on thoughts.
Going to be using a standard IPA water profile with distilled water for the base.
Let me know!
