Just brewed a great ipa that has some complexity and a nice sticky, resiny finish. However its lacking something up front. The initial taste of each sip feels a bit hollow. Any thoughts on how to achieve a fuller flavor throughout?
Honestly, without posting some kind of recipe nobody will be able to help you. We would need to know your recipe, mash temp, hopping schedule, yeast type, etc. There are just to many things that could cause that. Is it lacking more of a hop flavor or a malt character? Did you dry hop? Give us more to go on and and I am sure you will get some great advice.
