5 Gallon Batch.
60 minute boil
Ingredients:
6lbs LME
1 1/4 lb dme
1oz Columbus start
1oz cascade @ 15minutes left
and centennial 5 min before finish
Tasted sample after 7 days (not really any bubbling coming from blowoff anymore, maybe once every 10 minutes). Taste is OK, but it doesn't really taste hoppy at all.
Fermentation started vigorously around 18 hours. Bubbled great from blowoff for about 5 days, then had the usual slow down.
Pitched at 68 degrees using US-05
Fermentation temps vaired between 65 and 69.8
Fermented in SS Brewtech Brewbucked Brewmaster edition.
Dry hop will be Amarillo and cascade. Was thinking an ounce of each (pellets in hop bag)
will that give the hoppiness and aroma i am looking for?
